Ordering number plates

You can buy ordinary number plates from a number plate operator (nummerpladeoperatør).

You can buy temporary stickers at the Register of Motor Vehicles (delivery time 3–4 business days if sent by post), via E-tax and at 5 customs offices (until and including 30 September 2025).
