Apply for creation of AKR number

Used in the following situations for registration of:  

• foreign businesses or citizens who own a vehicle in the Danish Register of Motor Vehicles (Motorregistret) 
• asylum seekers who own/use a vehicle in the Register of Motor Vehicles.  

Please note: Do not use this form if you need an AKR number to order a temporary sticker. See how to order temporary stickers.

What you need to submit the application for creation of AKR number:  

• MitID to submit the declaration electronically
• Registration number og chassis number.  

 You must also attach the documents listed below.

Foreign business  

• Documentation of the name and address of the business 
• Power of attorney, if relevant  

Foreign citizen  

• Photo ID and documentation of your foreign address 
• Power of attorney, if relevant  

Asylum seeker  

• Photo ID card newly updated and signed by the asylum centre.
